Digital inkjet printing equipment and technology will be further improved


Compared with traditional printing, digital ink-jet printing has many advantages, and the equipment has also developed to the fourth generation. However, its industrialization and promotion progress is slow. In addition to the limitation of printing speed, the main reason is that the supporting process and technology research lags behind, which is embodied in the following aspects.


Ink problem


At this stage, compared with traditional powdery dyes, digital ink-jet printing inks still have some problems, such as high price, poor mutual universality of inks from various ink manufacturers, poor ink storage stability and so on. At present, the cost of digital ink-jet printing is high, and the quality of digital ink-jet printing products is affected to a certain extent.


Color matching problem


Color matching is an important part of digital inkjet printing. Digital inkjet printing outputs color through computer control, but the color reflected on the computer display screen is different from the color mode of inkjet printing, so it needs a color matching process. In the process of color matching, different process parameters must be set according to the characteristics of dyes, spray printing accuracy and fabric category. If the parameters are not set well, the color of spray printing will be very different. In addition, because digital ink-jet printing adopts the principle of four color separation, any small change of parameters will cause great changes in color. In particular, for the gray, coffee and sauce red color systems that need to be mixed with four colors, any change in parameters will have an impact on the color effect of printing. Color matching cannot be called out directly on the computer, which needs to be realized by gradually adjusting the set parameters. Therefore, the research of color matching technology is very important.




Sizing problem




Digital inkjet printing must be starched before inkjet printing to prevent ink infiltration. Sizing has a great impact on the quality of jet printing. If there are problems such as "weft skew", "wrinkle printing", "uneven" and so on during sizing, there will be phenomena such as "seepage", "cloth escape" and "uneven color" during jet printing, resulting in a high defective rate of ink-jet printing. Therefore, what additives and equipment are used for sizing are two difficult problems. At present, most enterprises use reactive dye ink printing and use sodium alginate as the main sizing agent. Because sodium alginate is particularly easy to absorb moisture in the air, the weather change and dry humidity of the fabric during jet printing will lead to inconsistent moisture content of the fabric after sizing, resulting in great changes in the color light of digital ink-jet printing. If the humidity in the air is very high, the pattern after spray printing will seep, making the printing outline unclear. The special equipment for sizing of digital inkjet printing needs to be further developed.


Color bleeding problem


Digital ink-jet printing adopts the four color separation principle of paper printing, and shows various colors of natural light through the cross reflection of four colors in three-dimensional space. However, in actual production, the brightness of some fabrics after digital ink-jet printing is often not good enough, especially where the color is mixed more, the gray level is higher, and the surface of the fabric seems to be covered with a layer of mist. The main reason is that the ejected ink seeps into each other.


Positive and negative color problem


Digital ink-jet printing is to supply ink on demand. Due to the small amount of ink sprayed on the fabric, the ink can only stay on the surface of the fabric, resulting in large color difference between the front and back, resulting in two problems. One is that the products to be used for penetration printing can not meet the requirements; Second, loose fabrics, when rubbed or sewed, produce the problem that the silk without color on the back turns to the front, commonly known as "reverse silk", which affects the appearance of the fabric and can not even be accepted by consumers. If we increase the ink supply and improve the reverse penetration, although the "reverse silk" situation will be improved, it will affect the clarity of the printed pattern.


Equipment universality and ink openness


Digital inkjet printing equipment has developed relatively rapidly in recent years and has developed to the fourth generation. However, many devices do not open their ink indicators and do not accept compatible ink. In addition, the digital ink-jet printing equipment of different models of the same manufacturer cannot be universal, and the proofing equipment and production equipment must be products of the same generation. These problems are the factors that limit the popularization and application of digital inkjet printing.


Generally speaking, digital ink-jet printing still has problems in process, technology and consumables. By constantly overcoming these shortcomings and limitations, digital ink-jet printing will move towards industrialization and scale, and develop synchronously and rapidly with digital ink-jet printing equipment.
